Community Network for Mental Health

The Latino Hispanic Coalition for Mental Health is an initiative to assist families who are dealing with loved ones living with mental illnesses, giving them an opportunity to receive assistance as well as a concrete support from community organizations.

The Coalition was formed initially by several community organizations including the Hispanic Development Council, Madurar sin Abuso, New Tradition Music, Encontrase, Teach 2 Learn and Red Latinoamericana de Solidaridad. This effort has been directly supported by Casa Maiz and has continued to work on its vision, mission and common values for our community. This is done by meeting to hear and to listen to a variety of organizations, professionals, family members and patients.
